Construction Trades is a two year program that will prepare its graduates to work in a variety of trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, sheet metal, or carpentry. Construction Trades is operated in partnership with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
Year one is a survey course in which students receive hands-on experience in all of the trades. Year two students work in one trade and are enrolled in the Level I apprenticeship of the trade of their choice. The apprenticeship is taught at ABC one evening/week. Students who complete EACS Construction Trades will graduate with a one-year head start on their career as a trade professional.
